Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ medium onion minced
  • 6 oz tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1.5 lb lean ground beef
  • 15 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 10.5 oz French onion soup
  • 1 tsp ancho chili powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp six-pepper chili powder
  • 3 cans light red kidney beans

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot on medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and minced onion. Cook until the beef turns brown.
  3. Pour in the beef broth and French onion soup. Stir well.
  4. Add crushed tomatoes and tomato paste.
  5. Mix until smooth. Put in kidney beans and stir gently.
  6. Add chili powder, ancho chili powder, cumin, salt, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  7. Add Worcestershire sauce and mix everything well.
  8. Lower the heat and let the chili simmer for 25 to 30 minutes.
  9. Stir occasionally so it does not stick to the pot.
  10. Taste and adjust salt if needed. Serve hot.
